Humanitarian Aid Work

Husain has been involved in / with several International NGOs, UN, and Governmental Bodies as a humanitarian aid worker. He mainly rendered services like project management & coordination, capacity building, mobilization, monitoring & evaluation, research, advocacy, etc. Currently, Husain is working voluntarily as the Executive Director of Sukoon; an NGO in Pakistan, founded by him.

Psychological Treatment

Husain, being a psychotherapist, has an experience of more than eight years in providing different psychotherapeutic services in individual, couple and group settings. These mainly include:

• Spiritual Healing

• Psychotherapy through Bodily Current (PBC)

• Reflexology, Aroma therapy & Water therapy

• Para-Psychological Exercises e.g. hypnosis and strengthening the human aura.

The most interesting area for Husain within the psychotherapeutic treatment remains the Emotional Health, especially of adolescents.

Psychosocial Stories

Psychology is a complicated subject. As he innovated several ideas and practices in the subject; one of Husain's unique and useful innovation is to write short stories based on real life situations. These stories start with a scene observed by him in his day to day life and end at psychological justifications, descriptions and conclusions. The main objective to write these stories is to make Psychology simple and understandable for general public so that every individual, regardless of his/her educational background, could understand different psychological topics easily. The topics which Husain touches are generally related to daily psychosocial problems and issues of concern.

As SUKOON contains exclusively novel psychological and para-psychological ideas, Husain intends to clarify his approach to masses through a series of articles. His articles, as a matter of fact, revolve around human beings and their psychology.

Research

Husain has been involved in research since long. He has produced several research based papers and articles. He is currently looking into the scientific / logical justifications for magic and different spiritual healing practices within the society. Moreover, he is writing a guide book on Psychosocial In and Output of Terrorism.
