Husain’s poetry is “poetry for poetry” and he never intends to give a message through his poems. His poetry, itself, is however, no doubt, a piece of the finest classic art and is full of emotional experiences. He used to say poems between 1993 and 1998 and he stopped saying poems afterwards to pay a poetic respect to Dr. Allama Mohammad Iqbal. He believes that no other poet of Urdu and Persian can convey the message better after what has already been revealed to Iqbal and came to our knowledge through him.
