Sukoon Alliance
To improve the psychosocial condition of people, Sukoon is forming an alliance with community based organizations and welfare societies. The main objectives of this partnership are:

To establish an adequate psychosocial enterprise that could better serve the communities.

To enhance the capacity of the CBOs by improving their technical and managerial skills.
-
To bridge the gap and disseminate knowledge, information and experience among the member organizations.
-
To provide basic psychosocial support to communities voluntarily.
Role and Responsibilities of the Member Organizations:
The member organizations of this alliance provide volunteers to Sukoon who carry out different psychosocial services in their communities after being trained. These services mainly include:

Community based Mental Health Work
-
Awareness raising on common psychological problems
-
Referral of psychologically disturbed to Sukoon Psychotherapeutic Clinics
-
Identifying and struggling against the unfair traditional practices which are not in accordance with the psychosocial needs and rights of human beings.
Role and Responsibilities of Sukoon:
The member organizations receive the following benefits in exchange for their cooperation in Sukoon’s psychosocial support to their communities:

Capacity building of their key workers in Human Rights, Psychosocial Support and NGO Management

Information and assistance in technical and managerial responsibilities
-
Facilitation in forming different Working Groups
-
Facilitation in conducting surveys
-
30% discount in the training workshops by the Institutional Capacity Building Program of Sukoon
-
Invitations to participate in seminars organized by Sukoon
